My focus on Medicare and long term care insurance became personal before it became professional. When my parents experienced a serious health event, I saw firsthand how overwhelming and expensive the decisions around care can be, and how different things might have been if our family had been better prepared. That experience gave me a deeper purpose in the work I do today.
I hold my Life, Health, and Annuities Insurance licenses along with my AHIP and Long Term Care certifications, and I’ve earned the FPQP® and RICP® designations. I received my bachelor’s degree from Elizabethtown College and a Master of Education from Kutztown University. That background in education has been especially valuable in my work, because Medicare can feel incredibly complex, and most people don’t engage with it until they have to. My goal is to make it approachable so clients can make informed decisions with confidence before the pressure is on.
I’ve been blessed with four children who continue to shape how I see the world and what I value. My family and friends are at the center of everything for me. Outside of work, I stay active through running and exercise, and I find a lot of joy in baking for the people I love and spending time in meaningful conversation with those who matter most.
